Two Festivals are being held in Bhaktapur this Mangsir and Poush. The first is Bhaktapur Festival 2081 organized by Bhaktapur Municipality, and the second is Madhyapur Festival 2081 organized by Madhyapur Thimi Municipality.
1. Bhaktapur Festival 2081

From Mangsir 28 to Poush 2
Time 10 am to 5 pm
The festival will be held at various locations in the city
Organizer: Madhyapur Thimi Municipality
From 12th to 14th of Paush
Time 8 am to 9 pm
The festival will be held at historical sites along a 5.5 km stretch from Shankhadhar Chowk via Nagdesh, Bode to Nilbarahi Sthan in Tignani
The festival will showcase local art, culture, traditional professions, customs, historical sites, and traditional foods, clothing, and handicrafts.
